Bipeman, this is the tower, do you read me, Over? Tower, this is the Bipeman, I read you loud and clear, Over! Sir, in regards to taking that biplane up in this kind of weather. Sir, are you Nuts, Over? Tower, Is the windsox still on the pole, over? Er, yes sir, the windsox is still on the pole, over? Well Tower, then as long as the windsox is on the pole, we can fly, over!
Welcome to my hangar! | |||||||||||||||||
Hi, thanks for stopping by my hangar. As you can see, I am still working on getting settled in. Don't mind the dust, ok? I'll need it later to mix with some dope and use for filler on this neat little P-41 over there. As you can probably tell, I am a nut over Biplanes. I am a member of a local R/C flying club in Grand Rapids, Michigan called Kent Radio AeroModelers, Inc. We fly most weekends, and although not every one is as avid an airplane flyer as I am, we do fly year round. The use of ski's is not unusual on these babies, or floats during the summer for flying off the lakes. On the Left here, is a shot of me with one of my favorites, a tri-plane. I let the wife, (Roz) take shots of me with my planes now and then. These shots will be changing on a casual basis, as I think of it. So check back often.
